IdeaKon

 

Ideakon is a speaker series cum networking event which would be conducted by the Entrepreneurship Cell of XLRI. Keeping in line with the vision of E-Cell, the event would help in inculcating an entrepreneurial spirit among the students and others members of the audience. The audience would benefit greatly from the experiences shared by the startups on the stage, as well as off stage. These experiences may also motivate a no. of students at XLRI to take the plunge into an entrepreneurial venture. IdeaKon would also be a great place for the startups to network with each other, as well as with some of the professors here in XLRI. To enable the next startup story, IdeaKon would also have an idea validation round for the students.

 

Agenda

 

IdeaKon would be daylong event held in the Father Prabhu Hall at XLRI on the 15th of November, 2014. It would be held alongside Ensemble, the annual management festival of XLRI, Jamshedpur. IdeaKon would primarily consist of 4 components:

 

• Start-up Speaker Series

• Audience to Startup Networking

• Startup to Startup Networking

• Idea Validation

 

 

Tentative Timeline

 

10:00 am to 01:00 pm: Start-up Speaker series

01:00 pm to 02:00 pm: Audience to Startup Networking and Snacks

02:00 pm to 03:00 pm: Lunch break

03:00 pm to 04:00 pm: Startup to Startup Networking and Idea Validation
